Truck Steering Checklist

Introduction

Setting up and managing the Truck Steering Checklist within the VSD Fleet Management System (MS). The checklist helps track the status of the truck’s steering system by allowing users to input data about individual steering parts.

2. Accessing the Checklist

  • Log into the VSD Fleet MS system as an Administrator.

  • Navigate to the "Truck Steering Checklist" module under the VSD Fleet MS section.

3. Customizing Fields

  • You can manage the fields in the checklist to match the specific needs of your fleet:

  • Go to the Fields tab within the "Truck Steering Checklist" document.

fields:

  • Steering Part: This field records the name of the steering part being checked.

  • Mark: This field records the status or condition of the steering part.

Viewing and Using the Checklist

  • You will see a list of existing checklists or can create a new one by clicking New.

Each checklist has the following fields:

  • Steering Part: Type in the name of the steering part (e.g., steering wheel, tie rod).

  • Mark: Enter the current condition of the part (e.g., Good, Needs Repair).
